SAVING LIVES AND BUILDING FUTURE

To help lift people from urban poverty and promote sustainable urban development by improving the standard of sanitation and overall welfare of the residents of Kampala slums through education, demonstration and enterprise opportunities.

(a) To improve the sanitation, health standards and access to water of slum residents in Kampala, including sponsoring or sourcing sponsors, facilitators or partners to support the implementation of such projects and activities.
(b) To support the development of an enterprise culture and skills for employment of local residents through coaching, initiating enterprise opportunities and promoting the skills and talents of local residents to the wider public.
(c) To educate the local community about water sanitation and sustainable development, through demonstration and training,including that of sustainable environmental practices and alternative technologies.

(d) To share lessons and practices learned through the Project to raise awareness among local people and the international community about the challenges of urban poverty and sustainable urban development and planning.

(e) To sensitize, educate and empower local communities to monitor and protect their local environment and use it sustainably.
